The new Filewile album «Blueskywell» was released on CD only and shall now be pressed onto vinyl!
Mouthwatering Records & Filewile are looking for at least 250 people to make this possible, by pre-ordering the vinyl for at least 20 Euro. If you take part, you become one of the albums producers and get your name printed on the sleeve.
The vinyl will be manufactured, if enough people participate. You will only need to pay, if there's sufficient people taking part and we can actually press the record. So spread the word!
Everyone taking part, will receive the record by post without further cost as soon as its produced. Go here to order
Bern is really rockin' again. Not only have we got several new clubs opening in the past few years, but we also got some really hot artists and DJ's putting out music. JAGGED is one example. I really dig what they do: Cool Deep House club music with that Oldschool touch - just great. The quality of their tunes is top - en par with some of the best producers on the scene, - they make me proud.... Proud to be from the same city, proud to know them... Big up!
One of the artists featured in the show with a rockin' tune is the fantastic Grampall Jookabox (out on Asthmatic Kitty Records). Just listen to his tune "The One Thing" to get an idea of the powers of this album :-)
The other band is Apollo Sunshine - great, weird, rock n roll, experimental alternative folk music. I love it, listen to the screaming "Brotherhood of Death"!
Apollo Sunshine's "Shall Noise Upon" is out on the arty project label Headless Heroes.

I admire Weatherall for his style and the fact that since years he keeps making and discovering brilliant low down 'n' dirty music, - be it electronic or not. On top of this he rocks as a club DJ. Respect - and bless him.
Check out one of his latest records: Andrew Weatherall vs The Boardroom out on Rotters Golfclub
Another outstanding club release from CD Recordings: ARCADION - GHOST FEEDER / ARC - I truly admire DC for the high standard they keep on release after release after release... Big up James and Co. for that! This one's another gem - and one for the floor: Electro, Space, House, Acid, Breaks... Great!
What a wicked time, - so much good music! I just discovered / received this fantastic remix albumHEALTH //DISCO by LA's Noise Dance band HEALTH and it thrills me to no end! It's kinda old school yet fresh Punk Disco trash House in the vain of Mr. Oizo's work but more Chicago House and Disco influenced. What's so odd and appealing is, that although its an album by various remixers it sounds so as one - a really cool dance album.... Wow!
This album is so very british. And so very good. Indie pop with a bit of retro psychadelia and an incredibly cool voice. Zera says, it sounds a bit like Robbie Williams - that may be a little unfair, but you can hear where she's coming from. The golden Silvers sound somewhat like the Hot Chip without the electronics. There's a good bit of sixties reference in there also.
True Romance is a well produced album, almost to the point of being overproduced - but that is partly the reason why it sounds so today albeit the retro sound. I've been listening to this album continuously for over a week and I love it - what a debut!
On first listen, I thought this is great! And bought the album. Then I thought hmm - maybe too New Wave or even Goth at times - and rather freaky in parts... But now... I love it! Check the fantastic Don't Think We're One - One tune!! Between Orbital, Depeche Mode, Kelpe and Squarepusher - a beautiful Pop Rave Tech Crackle tune. And that's only one of many great tunes on one cool album. Buy!
DJ Mujava was supposed to play the Wildlife! night at our nice new local club Bonsoir - he didn't show up though. Yet thanks to this, I got to listen and LOVE his outstanding tune Township Funk! DJ Mujava comes from Pretoria, South Africa, - Read more on discogs.org and buy his record from Warp Records own Bleep Store!
Elvis Maswanganyi well know as DJ Mujava, hails from Pretoria, South Africa, in a township called Attridgeville. He was raised in a family of 5 with a father, two sisters and two brothers.
From all the family members, he was the only one who had love for music as he used to be a dancer and he spent his spare time practicing with a small keyboard that he had at home.
He was inspired by the likes of DJ Fresh (12), Oskido ,Masters At Work, Revolution (3), Loop Masters.
DJ Mujava had to learn the hard way, by striving very hard to get a way of knowing how to programme music. His brother sacrificed not to throw himself a party and decided to buy Mujava a computer, so he could learn and master his production skills.
Cry, a Gospel producer, who had an independent company called CSP. suggested to Mujava that they should try a house project. The two then started a company called House Therapy Productions.
After establishing himself in the market, he then decided to spread his wings further by joining his production (Mujava's Music Production & Entertainment) with Sheer House.
He has since then, produced music for the likes of Bujo Mujo, Casablanca (DJ Floit), DJ Cee, Ghetto Skwatt a Hip Hop Group & Simon Makhatholele a Gospel singer.
In the year 2004, BOP (6) featured one of their songs on their album The D Project : Life 'Iskorokoro Bop Killer [Featuring Zulu & Costa].
Outta Kingston Jamaica Terry Lynn released this fantastic new album, Kinstonlogic 2.0. She's been working with producers from Switzerland to create a remarkably fresh sound, - fusing Jamaican Ragga influences with cutting-edge electronic disco sounds like you hear on dancefloors from Paris to Berlin, London, Berlin and Bern. And Bern is where one of Terry Lynn's producers comes from: Wildlife! Shouts out, much respect and a big up to our mate from Wildlife for them wicked tunes - what a nice surprice! I only found out about Kinstonlogic via the Rough Trade Records from London, taking me back to the produce virtually living next door. Fresh things happening down here :-)
